Freedom’s year is built
around the Trenton Winter Skateboarding Program
The Trenton Winter Skateboarding Program is a weekly event series that takes place on Saturdays from November through February. It includes open skate events, board giveaways for at-risk youth, live music performances, women and queer skate meet-ups, and other positive community events.
Since the first Trenton Winter Skateboarding Program launched in 2019, hundreds of skaters have visited Freedom, with an average of roughly 100 people at every event.

2024-2025 Program Dates
Freedom will be open from 12:00 - 6:00 PM on the dates listed below. Our address is 675 S. Clinton Avenue, Trenton NJ.
All Trenton Winter Skateboarding Program events are free. Freedom also has board and helmets available to borrow for anyone who doesn’t have their own equipment.
All attendees at our events must sign our waiver. You can sign the waiver online here.
